Sorry, I don't really know anything about bugs but this came in some raspberries from Spain to the UK - that's all the info I have I'm afraid.

From what I can think of and find... its probably an Anomala species.

the beetle looks green to me.

Yes it is green - although in a punnet of raspberries it looked distinctly red - I am a little colourblind anyway!!

ops! it was probably the color of the rasberry reflecting off of the berries.
