yesterday George (melmoth) asked if i could pick up a gigantea from the bts show for him so here it is

i know one thing trying to repot it for posting was a really pain :? maybe it had something to do with me havinga hangover :D

yep it sure did come from vinman im sure sure if you noticed other species mixed in with the giganteas

How many do you have now ? (gig's and robusta's ?)

unfortanetly i had a hangover while trying to rehouse them today i did try to take pics of mine but they turned out really blurry for a couple of reasons like the DT's and the pedes wouldnt staystill the only pede that stayed still long enough was the one i posted to George

i now have 2 gigantea and 2 robusta

no i wouldn't agree,... cause i think it's a "classic" gigantea {D
(wich are to my opinion even more attractive then the yellow/red ones ;)

Thanks for ID ing my gigantea as being one of the classics.Wasn't sure.It's my first obviously. So S.gigantea it is. ;)

Nono, you're supposed to get drunk *after* you've repotted the pede, silly!

You must be one experienced keeper, or have nerves of steel, or maybe both, because that's a transfer I wouldn't attempt sober with a 10 foot pole and a space suit! :D

It does look like a really impressive specimen, though - the ultimate Dark Side!

Gigantea Arrives!!!

Well Guys,
My Gigantea arrived today.Professionally packed by John (fatbloke).The pede could have fallen down a lift shaft and not been damaged. He is absolutely awesome. Breath taking.I understand now why you say these are the ultimate pede Steven.Really grateful to John for getting him for me,as I was unable to make the show as I had planned. George
