Megasoma elephas?

Just returned from a little R&R down in Tulum, Mexico. Beautiful place! I happened across several of these magnificently large beetles – megasoma elephas?

Did you bring them back?

Please tell me you did. Oh wait...it was Mexico, wasn't it? :wall:

I LOVE rhinocerous beetles and would love to find some for sale in the US. I can't even find native species.

That is a beautiful beetle.

it's one of the easiet beetle to raise to respectful size like 125mm if the temp and substrate are proper
