I came home to find #2 had molted while I was away at work. I could tell #2 was about to molt as I have two of these spiderlings that I purchased at the same time form the same breeder. #1 had molted a few days before and #2's abdomen was black as night. #2 is about 1.5 inches.

Haha, so I'm not the only one who gives his spiderlings numbers?
I have 5 OBT slings and since they are too small to sex or anything, I just call them by numbers and all together they are "Kids Next Door"{D.

First, the little guy is a Brachypelma smithi, sorrry. Next, I never name mine but I also have a wolf spider that I call #7. I know your smart enough to figure out that she has a missing leg. I imagine when she molts I will have to renumber and rename to #8! Thanks

I do the same things with numbers. I have a minatrix #1 and minatrix #2. I hope someday I feel motivated to actually name them!

i keep a log of molts, arrivals, feedings, etc on my callendar and i just write gr (g rosea) and a tick mark for each cricket or roach whatever. but for species like rosea and murinus i have more than one of i just write gra 1 and grb 1 and pma 1 etc
