Just a quick question, everybody keeps telling me something different. Are kingworm mealworms and regular mealworms the same ?

Kingworm seems to be another name for Zophobas morio, aka. superworms. The common mealworm is Tenebrio molitor.

An important distinction being that superworms/kingworms are cannibalistic and worms must be separated to pupate otherwise the pupae will get eaten. Regular old mealworms, however, will readily pupate amongst larval forms.

Now I’m even more confused giant-mealworms on this site / superworms on other sites???
There are only two main sizes of mealworms advertised, three if you include Mini.

Regular/ normal.

Anything advertised as,

Super / King-size / Giant / Super Dooper will be the larger Mario worm.

Smaller/ normal will normally be advised as just Mealworms.

Yeah, that's weird! Superworms/Morioworms/I guess Kingworms are a totally different species from mealworms (as MariaLewisia mentioned), but "giant" mealworms are basically just typical mealworms which are hormonally kept in the larval stage longer, so they grow larger without changing into beetles...
My guess, based on the pictures, is that the website is selling the "giant" mealworms? But yeah, definitely confusing, haha!

And just as some additional info for OP, in case you didn't know: while you can put mealworms/giant mealworms in the fridge to make them last a bit longer, you can't do the same with superworms--they can't tolerate the cooler temps the same way (thankfully not speaking from experience, haha--just going by this video:
)

Interesting video although I’m not sure why caterpillars are called worms 🐛 that’s not what they are. Always drives me nuts but there a expensive feeder I cannot afford for my Ts.

Because common names are common wrong, and the people that use them exclusively have little to real understanding of inverts most usually

Yeah they seem pretty challenged to understand anything one video I saw a guy feeding a big 1 foot plus bearded dragon little 1/3”-1/2” dubia nymphs …. I got 2” Ts that can eat 1/2”… let these people burn tons of money for tiny undersized feeders. :rofl: o_O
