Me need some sugestion about ants?!


I new on this forum.

My fist post is about ants.
I looking on web and find some species of ant bat i don't now what is best for my taste.

Can you tell me what species of ant have this feature:

Small colony (1000-5000) and big ant (Worker is 7mm or higher).

were gonna need more info, like were are you? I would say capture a queen off a prenuptual flight and try to start there. worry about specifics later

Bat that is not all i know "Big Black Ant" bat i don't now they realy name. na some yelow ant, red-black and small black ad more almost same bat they not.

I catch ant colony!!!

I catch i think Lasius fuliginosus or similar speaces. Bat i don't sure.

That ant is very very similar like Lasius fuliginosus and is big ant. Lives is dead wood.

I catch all ant base. 5 queen or much more 5 male meny orher and mush meny worker.

I keeping they in they anthill (Anthill I take out in 3 part and VERY BIG 50cm x 1m x 1m) and what naw?

Can i they take out (wood)?

I don't have any dish like 50cm c 1m x1m!

Can i take uot they in some other dish like 50cm x 50cm x75cm?

All colony have 100-150 ants.

Lasius fuliginosus is to smal for this ant.

Ants moving is very fast when is warm.
Bat don't like sun.
And living in dean wood.

Those are Camponotus. I see workers males and unmated queens. Unless you have a mated queen they will not survive long.
