There is at least one cast skin in the tank. A male's only got so many pieces. :)

One observation: Also in the photo is an ashtray. I hope there isn't any smoking where the cage is actually kept ?!?! Remember, nicotine is a deadly insecticide and other noxious fumes are also produced by a burning cigarette. I would advise against smoking in any room housing invert cages.

Cheers,

Michael

Man, that's gotta be a heart-breaker when they eat each other. I guess the only good part is that you may get a buttload of slings...Good Luck...

I thought so too, at first, until I looked closer and saw what I think are legs underneath the female's legs..

Holy cow! I had no idea about the nicotine being posionous for inverts! I'm glad I read this before I had a problem.

Thanks Michael.

I don't smoke in the house anymore. I moved last year, and after I emptied my old house... Now, think of all that yellow gunk in your Ts delicate book lungs.

PLUS, it won't be on the walls of my brand new house!! :p

Great observation Michael!

Couldn't this be true of insence as well? I know of a few people that told me that after burning insence in their house their animals got bloody noses.... which obviously wouldn't happen in this case, but i can't imagine it being very good for them?

As far as I know, incense has no nicotine, carbon monoxide, cyanide or any of the other deadly chemicals that cigarettes have. Although I can't imagine ANY smoke would be beneficial to them. I too, burn essential oils... I look for "all natural" brands, but there is no telling WHAT the smoke contains.

you mean I have to get my OBT's to quit smoking? Great, and they were cranky enough already. How do they do on Nicorette Gum?

Not well, I'm afraid. The venom turns it into a gooey, sticky mess! They fare better with the patch... just cut it in 16ths!! :p
