Masked hunter - assassin bug

I found this guy in my garage the other day!

I just recently learned of assassin bugs although I have seen them in the past before I knew what they were. I have never seen the masked hunter though, until this one. Do you find them often where you live?

i haven't found any of those sp. yet,i'm in fla. ive found many diff.sp. of assassins other than that 1. those are very interesting,they pick up little bits of litter and stuff and put it on themselves to camaflauge(spelling) themselves.very cool little guys.
