Anyone here keep a marine/saltwater system?

I'm currently setting up an invert-only tank to house a couple small marine arthropods, molluscs and echinoderms.
I kept a nano reef with some soft corals, clowns and gobies many years ago as well as a fish-only tank, but I always found the invertebrates to be a lot more interesting to observe. While I would love to get back into keeping Marine fish (Porcupine Fish and Seahorses are on my bucket list) right now I'm just going for a low-maintenance tank with lots of interesting Inverts.

I'd love to hear from any others on here currently keeping saltwater aquariums :)

I wanted to setup a marine aquarium for inverts but my other half isn't such a fan, so that project is on hold... for now...

I've got a 26-30 gallon (I'm not sure what it is exactly) tank currently in the final stages of the cycling process. Lots of algae, gonna have to do the first water change here soon.
I'm planning on doing lots of zoanthids, mushrooms, other softies, some LPS, and maybe a few SPS depending on how stable I can keep it, along with a small assortment of reef fish.

I'd love to do an invert only tank, I just can't find the space right now for another marine aquarium.

Update us on how your tank turns out! I'd love to see how it looks.

Thanks,

My dad has a 55 gallon and 40 gallon. The 55 has a pair of snowflake clowns(we secretly call them a**hole number 1 and 2 because they are a serious pain in the rear when doing eater changes. They won’t stop biting and one of the jumped out of the water to bite my dad and landed up on the carpet twice), a small hippo tang, a twin spot wrasse baby, and a yellow tang(slightly overstocked, I know). The 40 gallon has a clownfish pair, a six line wrasse, a baby sailfin tang, some sort of small damselfish, and one of those striped cleaner shrimp

If it helps, seahorses basically require their own little tank without any flow or they'll just be tossed around endlessly.

A previous partner upgraded from a 120g to a 240g while we lived together. As they worked out of town for months on end, the onus of caring for the tank fell to me. I LOVED IT. It was a reef set up. I'll have to see if I can find my photos of it!

I'd love to have my own marine tank someday, but the reality of it is that I have sooo many other things to take care of already it will probably never happen :(

I really want to get more into aquariums, although only problem is I do want to move to a new continent in the next decade or so.
