I know geckos need to be kept around 80F and I have
an extra tank for it.
As soon as I get him, I'll post a picture.
Any Gecko info would be great :p

This is a picture of my marbled gecko Mighty... Marbled geckos are not tokay geckos, though they are a member of the "true" gecko family, being gekko marmuratus. Mine has made noise when stressed out quite a bit. He had mites when we got them (thus his name) and didn't like them being picked off... anyway.... I keep mine in with my tokay, a golden and 2 velvet geckos. They get fed med/large crickets and Mighty is a very agressive eater. They are not one of the friendiest geckos, probably as easy to handle as a golden or a velvet. Easier to handle than a tokay. They are definately biters. The 80 degree thing should be good, and I believe that marbled geckos are one of the types of geckos that will drink from a water dish, though I spray mine once daily to keep the humidity up, and also to provide water drips for the tokay and the velvets to drink.
Hope that helps, marbled are very pretty geckos. (Though I think I want a couple more Tokays;P )

I just need to get him a lamp and a branch.
How hot should the basking spot be? Or should there even be one?

Other than crickets.......?

What else should I feed my Marbled gecko?

The person at the pet shop told me something that I
think is probably a total crock...........anyway,
she said that superworms could hurt geckos ("any grub")
I guess they can't digest them fast enough and the grub
eats its way out............

Is this true, or is it a total crock, like I thought?

I don't believe the superworm eating its way out of a lizards stomach myth at all. I have used them for years and never had one pop out of a lizard.

I figured it was a load of crap, considering its source:rolleyes:

So, are these geckos strictly bug eaters? Or can they eat small
mice?
I read something that said they might eat a little fruit baby food,
will they?

This is an arboreal gecko. They hail from the land down under (Men at Work playing in the background) where they range from east to west across the southern area.
They eat insects. You could always try some types of fruit, as I've found some supposedly insectivorous geckos will eat fruits with relish, however, theses are usually fruits that are native to their natural habitat.

In Canberra, Australia currently the temps are ranging from 32F at night (yes, it's actually getting that cool there this time of year) up to 58F during the day. For the most part the weather conditions are partly cloudy, yet over the next ten days there are two days with showers, one day is PM showers with a 60% chance of precipitation and the other is AM showers with a 30% chance of precipitation. Sun rises at around 630am and sets around a quarter to six in the evening. Humidity ranges from 50% during the day to 90% during the evening. This gecko more than likely gets its moisture from the rainfall and from its prey, as the dewpoint is close to but isn't quite met this time of year, in other words, other than the occasional rainfall, it's pretty dry there despite the high humidity during the evening. The rainiest months are in October and November though it's only 2.6" of rain per month on average, so it's pretty dry here year round.

Hope this helps a little. Figured it might interest you anyways.

Take care!

It's pretty typical for humidity to rise during the night. Daytime sun generally reduces humidity. :)

You're most welcome.

I hear baby food is not good to feed geckos. Instead I use those little cactus fruit yummies that come in sticks, kinda looks like one of those otter pops. Or I use real fruit all mushed up.

Here's a pic of those fruit things:
