Pretty strange, here in Belgium there are a lot op people breeding them. I just have 4 nymphs. There was a guy who had so much nymphs that he fed them to other mantids... just because he couldn't get rid of them. :?
Then he placed an order on a foreign website an they were sold in no time.
I've noticed that here the mantids are much and much cheaper than in America and England also.
