I now have 3 ootheca :). I'm going to try 3 variables to see and hopefully have success in hatching. 1 in the fridge,1 outside, and one at room temperature.

Let me know your results. I have 4 ootheca and I would love to know which way gives the highest yield of babies.

I have had better results leaving them outside than in the refridgerator. If left indoors, chinese mantid ooths usually hatch in 5-8 (avg 6) weeks after being made.

lol the one at room temp will hatch

the one outside will if its wrm

the one in the fridge wont untill you take it out and keep it at room temp
