no pics, sorry...

Locally found here in the Philippines, still a nymph though, but has two black spots on thorax right behind the raptorial legs.

I'm assuming Hierodula parviceps, but I need to verify that.

I'd love to help but black dots behind raptorial legs is extensively common in Mantids. I really think a picture will be neccessary to identify the specimen.

Thanks, I think I need to take care of this until it matures then I can take a clear picture of it for identification.

Can any anyone link me to a site with a list of Mantis found in the Philippines? These old papers with a lot of firebrat/silverfish kills me.
