I have a mesh popup tent lying around and I was wondering if it would be suitable for a mantis? I've never had a mantis before so I'm unsure if a setup using this for an enclosure would work. Its dimensions are 23.62 x 15.75 x 15.75. I would hand feeding the little guy so I wont have to worry about it not being able to find its food. I was thinking of having a live potted plant in there along with some branches to climb so any recommendations for plants they like would be awesome.
Thank you!

I've used those and they're great for mantids. They allow for gripping on the roof for molting (if they don't pick their sticks to use).

It's great for any mantis.

Plant recommendation: snake plants are great, grows fast, easy care, and unkillable.
