Mantid's ootheca hatch some now and some later??

Can anyone tell me if i can cut up part of the ootheca and hatch some now? and leave the rest to hatch later?

No, Their development would be ruined and they will die. They need the Ooth for protection, once they hatch they are good to go, but do believe that you want to wait 1 or 2 molts before you sell them. or instars what ever they are called.
