Well,

Here they are, side by side. I'm surprised that Behemoth has grown as much as he has. They're both pretty much exactly the same size now.

Some of the pics were taken without the flash, others with. Mammoth's on the right, Behemoth's on the left.

Both good lookin' frogs if I may say so myself. Easily amongst my favorite of pets!

Thanks for looking folks!

Thanks alot folks :)

Hamburglar, these two are male Pyxie frogs. I use a 60 Watt Zoo-Med infra red light 24/7. It supplies the heat that they need, but doesn't mess with the photo periods either.

Burnt, I recommend these guys whole heartidly! Male Pyxies never disappoint!

Thanks alot folks :D

Froggyman, haha, the Dingers is doing great bud! That guys another one of my all time favorites :D He'll be up and about for the next 2 1/2 months, then he'll be ready to estivate for a few.

Clam, you can get these guys just about anywhere herps are sold. I was after guaranteed males (roughly twice the size of a female), so I ordered mine online. Both from different members of another site I frequent.

they don't mind sitting next to eachother? I figured they would be territorial.

Thanks guys :)

Froggy, the estivation is supposed to be rather important where this species of frog is concerned, I guess they're very prone to URI's if they don't have some down time. Not to mention it's supposed to extend the frogs life span as well from what I've heard.

OTwolfe, they were both outside of their enclosures, so I think they were some what thrown for a loop. Neither of them really had a territory to defend at the moment. I do know that some people keep them together, but I've never tried that. Not really worth the risk of them fighting and such.

hehe well i have space for maybe one more critter in my room so if i do get anything else i have to make sure its something i really want ;)

how often do you have to feed them and clean their enclosure? if i get anything else i don't want anything too high maintainence.

These guys are really easy as far as maintaining them goes. I feed them 3 - 4times a week, inverts mainly. Then once a month they'll get a small hopper rat.

I clean out the water dishes daily, and if they're soiled, they'll be cleaned more often. As far as changing out the substrate, I replac my substrate once per month.
