Does anyone know if maggots would make good feeders for small frogs and amphibians? I thought about trying to breed some (stick a piece of meat in a jar and a few days later - ta da!).
I've been trying to research it but it doesn't seem like many people do it. Perhaps because of the risk of disease and bacteria.
Just wanted to know what you're thoughts were on it. Seems like a quick and easy food source but if it's dangerous to my pets then I won't try it.

i get the magotts from my garbage allow them to cacoon and then stick them in the refrige and then pop into contianers, that is for the T's at any point, but you have control of it and what they are eating, should be A-OK!
