this is my newest baby, she honestly scares the hell outta me, its my first OW and i never understood speed/teleportation till i met her. ill update with bite reports or growth pictures...either way should be fun times.

Is that an effect of the photo/lighting or does she really have that much red to her?
I honestly don't ever think that I have seen an H. mac that looks like her. Fantastic new T! :clap: :clap: :clap:

no lighting tricks or anything, shes very burnt orange right now, premolt i do believe, and there was a red light behind her from my snake tank but the cork bark covered that up so...i was looking at the pic myself and saying "man i hope this IS an H.Mac and not S. Calceatum haha. i already held her once but it was right after transport so she wasn't as feisty as i thought, im gonna give her a couple days see if she molts then pull her out again.

anyone else think this is an odd colored H. Mac or is it like this cuz its still young? i dont wanna be holding something if im not sure what the hell it is, even tho i seen the mother of this beauty and she was for sure an H. Mac, its kinda odd these colors are that of well...death haha.

There's no real question in my mind whether or not you have an H. mac there.
And while it has more red to it than any other juvy I have ever seen, i would be surprised if it came out with any other than typical adult coloration.
Time will tell on this one.

She's pretty, either way. She could just have a polymorphisim of the species, like RCF roseas. I wanna touch her!
