Madagascar Velvet Gecko (H./B. sakalava), anyone else have one?

I got mine at a show about a year and a half ago. These guys are awesome and I'm told they get really big. I think I have a female... and I can't seem to find a male. Anyone else have one of these guys?

I've only seen them once. I would almost pay to have those two shipped from your pet store to here, but I do not have plans to breed her.

They aren't very common, that's for certain.

Cute! What do they think of handling?

She is hard to get out, and once she's out, she doesn't like being touched on her tail, head, sides, or really anywhere unless she can see your finger. Sometimes I get away with a slight chin rub. I try not to take her out too often, though. I haven't tried "taming" her down, and probably won't.
