macklots python out in the yard

ive always felt macklots pythons where a very underated and underapreciated species of snake. you dont see many people that keep them but those that do love them. for as cheep as they are (60 bucks for a baby) im suprized more people dont keep them.

anyway i decided to take my girl out in the yard and to a little videoing.. enjoy

OMG I love matlocks! Is it true that they are nippy as youngins but get better with handling....Ive seen some adults that id rather play witha wild Scrub than touch!

ya its true.... what i realy need to get on video is the food responce... i have a few that show them feeding but you should see what happens when i just open the cage.. she dosent strike... but thats because i know to give her space at first... she will shoot 3 feet strait out of the cage in strike possition every time... her personality reminds me of a retic.
