Peucetia viridans?
GF brought it home from work today. 3/4"+ leg span.
Read some info here and elsewhere that states these can get fairly large and have decent lifespans.

Attempted shot for a view of it's pedipalps. I cant find decent images of males and the one or two that I found show much darker and pronounced palps.
What do you think? M or F?

The lynx is VERY shy and has not taken prey until last night when she finally snatched up a small cricket. Problem is that when I carefully turned the jar to observe her while she ate, she dropped it and ran and never returned for it. Oops... lesson learned.

BTW... male brought to me looks like a small widow male. :D Palps are very large for its size though, so I am thinking it may not be a hesperus. Going to try and raise it to see if I can tell later. I could tell right away that it wasnt a male lynx. Though the person that brought it to me thought it looked like one... small spiders with thin legs ...they all look alike to some people. :D
