What a cute little frog. I've heard of lungless salamanders before. Very interesting.

That article was in our local paper tonight, Its nice to read articles that that rather than the other same old news that I've become numb to(mideast, gas, etc).

Its pretty cool that the frog has evolved flaps of skin on the legs to increase its overall surface area.

That's interesting. I'm familiar with the lungless sals, kind of seems like more frogs would be lungless. Didn't say how big it was, did it? I think all articles like that should include size, it's always something I wonder when I read stuff like that but I hardly ever see it stated in the articles. I'm getting extra flaps of skin too but I'm having to breath even harder:rolleyes: .

Cool frogs. The article mentioned something called a Caecilian for a brief second so I looked at a few sites to see what they were. The frogs were neat but they shoulda done an article on these creatures. Now I want a Caecilian.

Here's a site with some great pix of 'em: http://www.amphibiainfo.com/gallery/gymnophiona/
