Picked this guy up on a trade with my LPS back in the summer. Good trade for both of us considering what I had invested in the trade and what he'll get retail. Basically asked him what new stuff he had and was told he had two Mexican firelegs. He presented them both and one obviously was different. I took it out of curiosity and now find it's a B. baumgarteni not a B. boehmei as he said. I went back today to see if he still had the other just to make sure it was not a baumgarteni also as his retail price of was good if so and it was about 2" larger. He had it and it was a boehmei but I had to make sure.
Downside mine is an immature male. (molt confirmed)
Should I hold him till he matures then look for a 50/50 or sell him?
I don't have a female and looking at mature female prices don't think I'll buy one anytime soon.
**Battery is just for size comparison not a permanent fixture.**
