Louisiana Tarantula breeders

I'm looking for a Louisiana tarantula breeder/enthusiast who has (hopefully but not necessarily) done shows or public outreach events before.

I am organizing and "Insect day" event for July and would like to have tarantulas represented at their own table. www.InsectDay.com

Since you want an arachnid at your event, maybe "Insect Day" isn't the best title? Maybe "Invertebrate Day"? In case some members of your audience don't know there is a difference between an insect and an arachnid, that would be a good introductory lesson for them.

Actually, the best would be "arthropod day"... not very catchy. plus not many folks would show up. There will be enough teaching going on though, the Audubon Insectarium and the Louisiana State Arthropod Museum will be setup. Thanks..

The Insectarium is really cool spot. I've been there twice and can never get enough. I might be interested depending on the schedule. Looking forward to potential date. Ben
