I had some new molts and just took some new pictures. Freshly molted adult female Cyclosternum fasciatum, a juvenile female Haplopelma lividum, a Poecilotheria pederseni sling and an Iridopelma hirsuta sling.

Also tried this week to breed a pair of Theraphosa blondi's. Neither wanted anything to do with the other. Will give it a try again in a weeks time.

Nice pictures.

One question about the T. blondi. Which one is the male? One is obviously a little heftier than the other, but I couldn't see the modified palps on either.

Really?? I'm embarrassed! Should do a little more homework before posting my wild presumptions. Thanks for the advice. They're still a bit of a handful as I understand?

Thanks everyone!

tmanjim, sorry to hear about the loss of your lividum :( , hope you can find another one to fill the void.

becca81, Thanks. The plaps did not show up that good in the pictures. In the first picture the male is on the right and in the second two he is on the left. He was bigger in legspan than her, but she was much more bulky.

keithaddison, The are fast and can be aggressive, but really not that difficult to work with. It takes alot for my girl to rear up, most of the time she is pretty placid.

Thanks! :D

Thanks Brian, I have had her from a 1/2" sling, so it was really nice to see her grow up. As always, can't have to many Psalmo's. :D

They're not to bad at all. Just keep in mind that it's a super hidding speed demon and you're set ;P No urticating hair, which is nice. Far more likely to speed off into the distance than start a threat pose.
