 Apperently i have a habbit of losing my pets first my scorp went missing and now the alligator lizard is missing. This time i have a theory or theories I should say. 1. I left the critter keeper open and it just jumped out. (i dought it but today is the first day i got any sleep all week and i might of forgotten to close it when feeding it) 2. Or it kept jumping untill the critter keeper opened and just ran away. I dont care that the lizard ran away because it's not mine and the kids who "lent" it to me to take care of 'till they get supplies were going to probably kill it. The bad news ITS SOMEWHERE IN MY HOUSE. When my scorp went missing i stopped worrying when I realized no matter where it crawled of to it would still go back to the same area everynight. But I have no idea where the liz is i put the heater amd pointed it at the floor hoping it would search for heat but still no luck. I just want to get it out of my house or at least in the critter keeper. What can i do?

Look on walls, curtains. My friend once lost his iguana for like 4-5 days and it was on the curtain when his Grandma found it.

All windows. Check anywhere you think dust collects. Check under the fridge - it has heat and spider webs, so there are bugs around there. Underneath couches is a good place too. Just because you don't see it on the ground underneath something doesn't mean it isn't under there. They can be up in some nook underneath something.

When we found it, it traveled down a decently long hall way and into the living room and up the curtain.
