Hi guys. I’m looking for some help my female jumper, she’s adult and never been near a male has laid what looks like an egg sack and instead of eggs there seems to be a yellowish liquid in the webbing and has dripped down the about 12cm of her enclosure I’m really worried that she’s hurt herself as she had a good sized cricket the day before she started this and may have fallen during the night or just at some point I’ve not seen she’s moving when I go to water her enclosure but she’s staying close to this web she’s built. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like spider poop to me! If she's captive bred and you know she hasn't been mated, then it should be a dud sac and she'll eventually discard it. If you bought her as an adult and she hasn't molted yet with you, there's a chance she was wild caught or mated in captivity, and that the sac could be viable. If you think that may be the case, you'll need to get ready for lots of tiny babies (research on here) or cull the sac by removing it and freezing it. I wouldn't worry about the health of your spider, try and get more pictures if you can, I know the webbing makes it difficult!

Failed egg sac. The yellow liquid is what would have contained and nourished the eggs within the webbing sac. Nothing to worry about, just a mess to clean.

Thank you, she’s captive bred never been near a male so I presumed it was either some kind of infertile egg sack attempt or she had maybe hurt herself after eating too much as her last cricket was a good size. I’ll keep an eye on her over the next few days as she seems to be guarding the area.
