I have no idea what it is tho... I found it climbing on a plant in my front yard. Whenever you touch it, it "pops" it's head forward and you can hear a loud "click". I have never seen anything like this before. I didn't know what it was or how to care for it, so I turned it loose. Here are a few pics (however crappy they are):

I didn't think to get a comparison picture to determine size... It was about an 1.5"-2" long and about .5" wide.

Anyone know what it is?

You must live in FL, I see them all the time at night. They have a nice green glow. They fly too!

LOL. Thats what we called them as kids. We used to find them all the time but I hardley see them anymore. Their fun to catch and put in the bathroom to watch them glow. We turned them lose when we were done but they were entertaining.

I do live in Florida, but I have never seen a glowing one. Like I said, this was the first Click beatle I have seen.
