Local Herps in Northern Switzerland

I live right by the forest in a very small town in Switzerland and we have a lot of wild life around us. There are several types of frogs, salamanders, lizards and snakes. I have a couple videos for you showing an unknown frog species, fire salamanders (Salamandra salamandra) and a grass snake (Natrix natrix).

Fire salamanders come out at night after rain to hunt, amazing animals to watch, very colorful. Grass snakes are the largest snakes around that feed on live amphibians. Aside from these I have seen a various small to medium sized lizards including Glass lizards (legless lizards).
