Hello, and welcome everybody! I have finally decided to start my very own picture thread, most likely because it took me this long to figure out how to start a thread. Right now I don't have a very big collection like some of you I've seen on here with an insane amount of animals (Yes, I'm jealous) :), but I do plan on my collection growing! I have been into T's for about 1.5 years, have had several species of chameleons in the past, and currently have three reptiles and 4 T's, so right now my collection is pretty small. I hope you enjoy my pictures, there will be more to come as time goes on.

Dragon, my 2.5 year old Beardie.
And YES her name IS Dragon, very creative huh?

There are more pictures to come, but she always complains that she looks too fat, so I will have to find some "thin" pictures of her.

Nice pics, though it looks like you have a back focus issue..? (if you happen to have an SLR, I'm guessing it is back focus)

That's my favorite picture too! Isnt he just sooooooo sweet :D

My frilled dragon is pretty cool. He's really sketchy and doesnt like to be held much though, he is starting to mellow up a little bit. (Since I started adding liquid valume to his water J/K.) A girl at the pet store I go to sometimes says she has one and fills up the bathtub and lets him run around on the water, and he loves it.

Hehe, an SLR (or dSLR) is a single lens reflex camera (d being digital). IOW the cameras with actual lenses that can be changed. (SLR's have a mirror, so the viewfinder is looking through the lens, wysiwyg)

If you just have a standard p&s (point and shoot) like a coolpix, it may still be a back focus issue. If this is the case, then its a bit worse than with SLR's as with an SLR, the problem is the lens, so you can just change it. With p&s thats not possible.

You need to test for back focus. If you are able to control the aperature (depth of field, how much of the scene from foreground to background is in focus) set it small (if not, do what you can, maybe lower light conditions) and take a photo of a brick wall or something on an angle. The centre focus area should be in focus, while the foreground and background are OoF. If the background is more in focus than the point you focused on, it is suffering from back focus.

If it is, you need to get it exchanged/serviced (needs calibration)

It doesn't appear to be any reason (other than back focus) on a number of your photos for the subject to be OoF and the 'background' (one was your hand) to be in focus.

I think Fatty is a color morph, lemonfire maybe? Definitely not sandfire, but I hadnt really noticed until I took those pictures how vibrant it was on his head and legs. It's hard to see when you are just looking at him straight on. If anyone else knows or has any suggestions as to what color morph he could be please speak up !!:D :D :D
