Lizard ID, Miami Area

My friend just sent me a picture of a lizard he found near Miami, FL. I believe it's Leiocephalus carinatus, but I'd like a second opinion. Thoughts?

Yep, most likely a Haitian curly tailed lizard.

Curly-tailed lizards were in Delray Beach 20+ years ago so I'd imagine they are now widespread, although maybe local, in central/south Florida.

There is a colony at Miami Dade College North Campus. Also seen them up in Oakland Park blvd in Broward county
