this is my first time posting here so im not sure how to write or act, but thats besides the point

i was feeding my tarantula a morioworm, it wasn't hungry as it wouldn't take it so i was going to take it out but it buried under before i had managed to grab it so now it's somewhere in there... i've honestly tried looking on every side to see if its pressed against the walls by any chance so i can quickly dig my tweezers in and grab them but no luck so i assume its somewhere in the middle - but then i'd be stuck digging and poking random holes with my tweezer and i'm scared of accidentally stressing my tarantula - so what do i do now?! do i take my tarantula out and destroy everything frantically until i find it or what? (this would probably be a last.. very LAST resort...) im super scared...,..,. this is my first time owning a tarantula . ive only had it for a few weeks and i feel im already messing up badly

Unfortunately you kind of have to take the spider out and find the worm.
Don't feel too bad about wreaking their home. It'll probably just take another couple days to settle in.
From now on you should prekill any prey that can burrow.

You can remove the spider and try to find it but sometimes they hide so well you won’t find them. look for the worm.🐛

It's really late rn so I will wait until tomorrow. I'll inspect the enclosure again in the morning and if it is not visible in a place where i can easily get it i will remove the spider and then look for it. Really appreciate your help! Thank you so much!

Had this happen once with a superworm after I crushed it's head. That's before when I learned to crush all the leg segments after crushing the head.

I rehoused my T immediately into another enclosure and emptied out the old one until I found it.

Crush the head in such a way that it is still somewhat alive.

If your tarantula has an issue with prekilled, you can always use a skinny safe stick yo move the prekill, enough to get the tarantulas attention.

for superworms i remove head. i also had to freeze some due to my tarantulas being overfed.

it works with all My tarantulas but one. My adult G pulchripes only does live crickets. So i don’t feed her. Because she’s fat.
