This little bat was found outside the hotel while I was in Albuquerque, NM last month. It looks to be in the Little Brown Bat genus, Myotis sp.

Actually the bat looks like he is wearing a bad toupee. It was great to see it hanging out around the hotel. I always enjoy seeing bats. They look absolutely primeval.

i'd love to own a place with a barn and have a few hang out there. they'd take care of all those pesky mosquitos for me.

unless it was a fruit bat it would be very impractical. they eat thousands of tiny insects a night, this would make feeding expencive and a real pain in the @$$Malhavoc's said:
