Oh I forgot you can't see the title unless you are on youtube. No those are P. irminia slings molting into 1st instar. The gbb should be molting soon into 2nd instar.

Is there a way to slow it down so we can see them actually changing from egg w/leg to instar? Maybe one single individual?

Those videos were very cool...What do you do with the slings after that? How do you get them out? Can the crawl up the sides after they hatch? Thanks Ryan!!! Again, cool videos :clap:

They don't climb around that much at this stage so I don't have anything to worry about. Plus they tend to stay clumped together even. Sometimes they scale the filter some but they don't ever get out.

Hey do you leave the old exo in there with them?

Oh ok. The ones in the video looked newer than the P. irminia pics from a few days ago. Two separate sacs or am I just imagining things? :?

Big question - did you notice if these guys have "double fangs" like your GBBs hatched with?
