I came across this caresheet on petbugs.com, Liphistius caresheet. I was just wondering if anyone here keeps one of these or know someone who has. I photographed some that were in Dr. Beatty's, a prof at my school, collection. Very interesting looking spiders. He had a few good stories about collecting them. I guess when you are excavating the burrows and get to just about the bottom they explode out of them and send you falling back down the hill if you weren't expecting it. :) I would love to keep one of these beasties.

I met Frank (author of that caresheet) at a show once and he told me about his plans for breeding those. Apparently, he was the only guy in the country with them and was hoping to introce them into the hobby. I don't know if he ever got anywhere with it though.
