I just received this guy from Amanda and Martin; he will, cupid willing, make sweet love to my female once she matures (which will hopefully be in short order). Keep in mind that his container was temp housing after unpacking, though its floor diameter of 9.5cm is a good size reference.

Hmmmm, come to think of it, this should be in True Spiders, etc. Sorry, got a little lost there.

hi,
fingers crossed for your breeding attempt, Linothele fallax is a very nice species ;)
You know how old he is? I would recommend waiting at least 2-4 weeks after maturity moult before trying to mate them - just to be sure he built a sperm web and is ready to go.

I am not sure when his ultimate molt occurred, but I am waiting on my female in premolt at the moment, so he will likely have ample time to charge his palps. Hopefully all works out, they definitely are an awesome species. By the way, your website is a great resource; excellent work.
