Lighting/heating for a lat colony???

hiya guise i was wondering if you could post pictures of your heating lights for your roach colonies.

also i have a bright regular light looking heat bulb, iv read your suppose to keep your roaches dark though so would it still work ?

what kind of bulb heating would you recommend

I do not use heat lights of any sort. Room temp works great for me.

If your going to use a light to heat your roaches use a red or purple night bulb. They wont make the enclosure bright and disturb the roaches.

Or you could use a screw in ceramic heat emitter.

or you could pick a heating pad at like cvs for 12 bucks and keep it on the lowest setting and this way it will stay nice and dark.

Red party bulb from walmart. 25 watts. That's a very gentle heat. They can see the purple light, so it's less recommended. Red they can hardly detect it's there.

The ceramic thing will work too, and is more powerful.
