damn cleaning a giant crap spider's cage must suck, that's why I just stick to the normal crab spiders like Misumenoides formosipes

I've been trying to find a better answer other than "maybe a year?"
It honestly depends. Males tend to have a shorter life span then females, and there are tons of different huntsmans and jumping spiders. It also depends on your husbandry. I've never seen a captive bred huntsman, so with a while caught specimen there is always some luck involved. That's why "about a year" is the best answer here.

phidippus sp usually live for a year and some live up to 2-3 years but it is not common; and based on what i have to assume, luck, genetics, and other variables we cant perfectly control.
you can expect maybe 8-15 months on average if you get a juvenile, already adults will pass much sooner. they have very short lives compared to tarantulas. you get their full lifespan when you raise them from eggs which is one of the many reasons jumper keepers breed.
