Let's try this again - Sam, our newest buddy

He just turned six months old - he wasn't intended to be a replacement for anyone as we got him before "it" happened - but it turned out that way. A month or so after we got him, our one cat Loki, who has had health problems his whole life, became very ill and had to be put down. He almost made it to five years old. Sam (full name Samwise) has been quite a help in making us feel better - he is a total love sponge and horribly cute.

I'm glad he's making you feel better. Sorry about Loki.
My Mom always said, " If you get animals your setting yourself up for heartache". How true it is.. But boy don't we enjoy them in the meantime? =D
