Let me paint/draw your Ts!

I finally have some free time in my life and I've been meaning to do experimental drawings/paintings, specifically with Ts as the subject. Basically I'm just trying to figure out which medium and techniques go well with drawing/painting Ts. Unfortunately, most of my Ts are slings and my camera sucks so its hard for me to get quality pictures.

However I've seen some absolutely fantastic T photos around. I figured it would be kind of rude to just use them as references for my pieces (especially since I might end up using some pieces in my portfolio) so I'd like to see if any of you guys would be willing to let me use your photos as reference. Strictly eye-balling here, no tracing or grid method.

Some examples of previous T drawings. First is a charcoal drawing of my G. Rosea, which my camera destroyed. Second is a quick digital painting of my G. Pulchra.

Here's one you can try if you want. Think you can draw a Pokie?

Sure! I would love to see some more great T art.

:)

By the way, I love that hand posture in the first pic! That looks amazing, as does the T!

Wow, gorgeous T! And nice close-up shots. Might try playing around with those.

I was actually hoping someone would post a pokie. I'm looking forward to the challenge of getting the markings correct. :)

I love her (his?) pose. Another beautiful T.

And thank you! The perspective was a pain but it was well worth it in the end.

i think this picture might have some possibilities. i can't draw a thing that looks like anything, but ask me for abstract and i can give you nifty things. Maybe you would have luck with it.:D

I really like that charcoal drawing. Charcoal is far and away my favorite medium. You can get any shade you want, and it smears and smudges so nicely! When you are finished with a few, please post them! You did an awesome job on that hand too.
I can't wait until I have a little 'me time'!

When u have done the charcoal drawings u really want to spray them with D-fix.... its like a see-thru coating that u cant tell is there, it doesn't leave a film or any tell tale sign that the picture has been sprayed and stops the finished result from smearing further. It makes your picture stay the way it was intended.

Nice work btw... very beautiful :)
