Leopard gecko troubles or false alert?

Hello, I don't know if this is the right place to ask this , but ..

About a month ago I brought home my very first leopard gecko, it's a super hypo tangerine, 18 month old female.
I think she's got all that she needs, a lot of hides, a hotspot , fresh water, calcium powder , paper towel substrate,
humidity box..

A few minutes ago when I was handling her, I noticed some brownish
looking thing under her leg. Does anyone knows what could it be? I
thought it could be from the injury or maybe infection? something else?
(she didn't get burned 100%)

I did a full gecko research when I brought her home, and this thing
wasn't there before for sure. She's very friendly and was a good
eater too before she molted, (which she did 5 days ago). The skin went
off in one piece with no problems, she ate her skin and I also offered her
a superworm the next day and she ate it, but since then she's refusing food.

So my questions are:

- What's that brown thing under her leg?

- Is it normal that she's in the humidity box for 12 days? ( 7 days before and 5 days after she molted)?

- She ate her first superworm the next day she molted, and now she's refusing food. Is this normal?
(I'm asking this because I have read that I need to fatten up my gecko after the molt)

She looks fine to me.
Hiding in the humid box is norm and you don't need to fatten up a fat gecko :p
I don't know about the spot, but I wouldn't be concerned about it. Just looks like some dark pigment.

I keep a leopard gecko, and he stays in his hide box most of the time, so I wouldn't be too concerned. As for the spot... you may want to see a vet, just to be on the safe side. No one ever died from being too careful.

That's a pretty lep gex even w/out the spots. I'd bring that guy into a vet. Mine never had a spot develop, that looks odd. Better to be safe, than sorry.

What is the average temperature in her enclosure? They wind down during cool weather.

If that's a recent photo of her, she looks plenty fat and healthy. I honestly wouldn't worry about the spot. I've seen those pop up on freshly shed leo's multiple times, and they usually fade out to nothing by the next shed. You could have also just missed the spot because she was starting to go into shed, and that blurs a lot of things out.

As far as her being in the humidity box, I wouldn't worry about that either. Leo's are crepuscular, meaning they're more active during dawn/dusk, during the rest of the time they're hidden away from predators and the heat/cold of the grassland/deserts they live in. It could be that her humid hide is just in the temperature zone that she prefers. I like to have them set up with 3 hides (if the cage allows) 1 on the hot side, one on the cool side. Humid kind of in the middle, and a water dish. Hot side should be kept at 90-ish, cool side allowed to drop to 70 at the lowest. It allows the animal to pick and chose where it wants to be. A cheap temp gun from a hardware store can more accurately tell you the temperatures in the cage. Without proper heat, it's hard for them to digest.

She's also brand new to your care, so the best thing to do is just let her settle in. Some individuals take longer to adjust than others.

irregular blotches on limbs are actually quite common in lizards of all species. I see it in western fence lizards all the time.

It's just a mass of pigment. You have nothing to worry about. Also, you're taking very good care of your leo, it makes me happy whenever I see a humidity box being used.

Nice big open eyes, a big fat tail, nice weight. She's 100% healthy IMO!

She's doing just fine guys , the spot is still there though, but it looks like it's nothing to worry about,
about taking her to the vet .. we really don't have one, at least not for the exotic animals ( yeah we suck about this ) :/

Merry xmas to all from me and my gecko :)
