Leopard Gecko Question

I have had this guy since late spring/early summer last year as a baby that was about 3.5" it has always been an aggressive feeder and grew quickly but never seemed to put on weight in it's tail just it's belly. I've seen it eat 2-3 pinkies back to back drink and never get a Fat Tail like my Females do. I told a local breeder about this and he said Male Leo genetics are different that females and that Males don't Store foodand their tails as much as females do? and each Leo is different? Is this True? I have had Him and My other females de-wormed about 4momths ago. Should I worry about him or is this normal? Here is a pic of Him and his Tail.

well the tail doesnt look too skinny to me.
My own female (5 years old) is way too fat actually LOL

i wouldnt worry too much if it wont go any skinner.
