Hello I am concerned about something and I am just trying to find an answer here lol. I have a healthy leopard gecko but the thing is is that he has not been eating right for the past month.... I think Last week he only had a few crickets to eat and 3 days ago he only had 1 supper worm. He looks like he lost alittle weight but not much so im not sure I have his cage set up the same kind of way since I got him over a year ago. He has 2 hides, 1 being a humidity hide. His hot side of the cage is 87 degrees at night and close to 90 degrees during the day. He does have a type of sand that is specialy made for lizards called viti sand. I know that regular play sand and the other pet store brands are bad for them. I have been useing this type of sand for a long time and he still uses the bathroom allot so that cannot be it Is this normal or am I just concerned over nothing?

You may have good reason to be concerned. Pictures may help here too. I never liked the calcisand or fine grained play sand, IMO it causes problems, but some people stand by it. Also if the HOTTEST spot is only getting 90, if it was me I'd up the wattage of your bulb or lower the lamp if possible and get it closer to 95-100. And then of course having a gradiant to the cooler side that gets as low as 80 or so. If your house stays in the high 60s and 70s at night I'd just turn everything off so there is a clearly defined temp difference between night and day.

What's he/she like now that it's been a couple days since your post?

its nothing to worry about now. I learned that male leopard geckos does this around this time of the year because they are wanting to mate. I just give him food if he accepts it thats good if he dont thats also fine. After a while he will come out of this lol.
