Leopard gecko not eating?

My adult gecko doesn't have much interest in food lately. I feed him mostly Dubia and B. lateralis roaches and mealworms. After a few days of fasting, he only just now took a Dubia nymph and a mealworm but wouldn't take anything else afterwards. Strange as he usually takes every mealworm he can find. He doesn't seem to show any signs of weight loss as his tail is very thick. He defecates regularly, too. It's been at least a few days since he had a good-sized amount of food so I'm getting kind of worried.

I keep him in a 15-gallon aquarium. Paper towel substrate. Humid hide with coconut fiber that stays moist. Stone cave for hiding. Day temps 85 to 90 degrees, night temps in the mid 70s or higher. Also, apart from the infrared heat bulb and the light in my room, he's exposed to no lights. No decor has ever been added, he's never been moved into another room, or anything else drastic like that, in case stress may be the problem. I also don't handle him much, either (he's one of those geckos that just doesn't really liked to touched/picked up). He also hangs out a lot in the humid hide, wether or not he's shedding every now and then.

Any ideas? He's gone through fasts before, though.

If he's still eating anything, that's better than nothing.

If hes still pooping that's even better. Impaction can have symptoms including fasting.

I wouldn't start to freak out until he loses a significant amount of weight and his tail begins to shrink.

Could have a shed coming up as well?

Yeah. Better to underfeed than overfeed, I guess. Can't be a shed, though. His last one was maybe a few days ago.

Everything seems fine. As said above, at least he is eating something. Also, they store fat in their tails. So if he is chunky, and his tail is fat, he should be fine. I'd wait for more symptoms such as weight loss before getting worried.

Keep us updated!
