Well I woke up this morning and on the way to the bathroom passed by the 125gal the Mad Hogs are in and saw 3 oblong eggs. I finally managed to successfully captive breed Leioheterodon geayi (Speckled Madagascan Hognose) and I do believe it will be one of if not THE first successful breeding in the US. Pretty excited about it. Not only that but I also have an Leioheterodon modestus which is very close to laying a real nice clutch for me which will be another first captive breeding of the Leioheterodon species in the US. I will keep posting updates and adding to my breeding report as information on this awesome species of colubrid.
