It's been awhile since I had taken my B. smithi out for her picture to be taken.
So last night i rehoused her to a bigger tank. Now she is living in a 5 1/2 gal tank from a 2 1/2 gal.

I'll take apictures of her new tank later

here is my prize jewel of my collection

I'll see if i can borrow the cam again to get more pix of my T's and scorpions

I just taken noticed that the date on that cam is all so wrong
that pic was taken two days ago

She's beautiful! I just got a 2.5 inch female smithi last week. Her colors aren't quite so vibrant, but I love her.

Does your mind being handled much? I haven't bothered with mine much since she's so little and new to us and her enclosure, but so far she's quite the little hair flicker. :)

Leanne is about 4 1/2 - 5 inches in legspan, gotten about 2 inches (I think, all I know is she was under 2 1/2in) I feed her well.
I will place 5 crickets at a time. Usually she will eat all of them and the ones she don't, 30 minutes later I will take out the ones she don't want.
Every now and then I will give her a pinkie (whick may average out 2 a month, if that) she loves them.

RedDrgn,
No she don't mind me holding her. I try not to handle too much, i just let her do her thing. I like to leave most of mine alone, simply so they won't kick hairs too much to get the bold spot.

Now when Leanne was small she like the size of your's, she kicked them out like rapid fire, and talking about a fast lilone. Right now she don't kick them out like she use to.

As for my other redknee (about the size of your's), that one acts like Leanne use to lol

Very pretty! My smithi is a little smaller, but just as colorful. She's also a big time hair kicker. I don't handle her often, but when I do, I go in for the fast scoop! Once in my hand, she stops kicking. It's the picking up process that sends hairs flying.
