If by leaf insects you mean phasmids in the genus phyllium then they like to eat bramble (blackberry) leaves and oak. They like it VERY humid however if they dont have good ventilation they will die. These are -NOT- a beginer species (I'm not saying your a beginner but I would not recomend them unless you have allot of previous experience with exotic phasmids). Keep them in a glass tank with a screen mesh lid and a fan near the container to blow away the excess humidity. Make sure they are constantly kept in the mid 80's (85-87 is good) and have fresh food plants. As for the flower beetles it greatly depends on the species. As a general rule larvae should have a 50-50 mix of pulverized well decayed hardwood and composted leaves from deciduous broad leaf trees (oak is a good species for wood and leaves) and some compost (100% organic) and manure (also 100% organic). Put some large pieces of the well decayed hardwood about 1.5 inches underneath the substrate (for moisture and food). Also you can put a -small- handfull of high quality dog food as a protein supplement once a week. They can be housed in a large kritter keeper with 10-11" of the afformentioned substrate. As for the adults they can be kept on 5" of substrate in a medium kritter keeper and fed bananas with a couple drops of 100% maple syrup on top. Both the adults and larvae should ideally be kept at about 80 degrees. Hope this helps:D

in addition to oak and blackberry, mine would often nibble on rose. blackberry was by far the favourite, oak being the least fav for mine. i always figured it was cause the oak was so dry where i lived.

good humidity and airflow are important but i found their care to be rather easy. not stick bug easy (feed & breed), but pretty easy.

i stayed away froma substrate caus ei got too much mold with little bits of leaf and such on the ground.

Then again you live in Tiawan where you could put them in a mesh cage and place them outside and they would be great.
