This is not the usual colorform, as you can see the spots on the abdomen are fused and more orange than red.
The male in the last picture was killed right after mating, but she made an egg sack shortly after so it seems hed did a good job ;)

is that a yellow-jacket in that last pic? pretty spiders as well :)

mason wasp, ive got 2 videos of it being attacked by the widow, ill try uploading them on the net, and giving a link

this was an ugly specimen, but the babies should be nicer when adult, and shinier

yeh sorry, it was 11mb so i thought id remove it before freewebs cottoned on, for some reason i have unlimited space there :p

if u really want it i can email it, it shows the widow wrapping the wasp in silk, and the wasp flailing around and buzzing >;0

Thanks, size should no be a problem, I often separate the spiderlings and feed them individually, the grow faster that way :)


I also feed them wasps sometimes, very cool, the wasp doesn't stand a chance ;P
