Latrodectus Question

Can anyone tell me the ranges in the U.S. where hesperus and mactans overlap? Also, what's the easiest way to distinguish the two? I've never kept hesperus.

The L. hesperus has a smaller bottom triangle of the hourglass when compared to the top triangle.

Range overlap, I don't know.
