Just got a couple L. mactans slings from one of my favorite vendors.
Compared to my legion of L. hesperus slings I can see the striking difference. They are anatomically the same but their coloration is very different. The L. mactans are much darker and more vividly colored.
I believe I have a male and female, but time and molts will tell.
